Summary
- We do not sell your data and do not track you across other apps or websites.
- No account is required for regular users. Admins may sign in to manage on-duty pharmacy data.
- Approximate location is used optionally to show distance or map directions; we do not store your precise location.
- Push notifications are used to alert users about on-duty pharmacy updates (you can opt out at any time).
- Data is stored on Google Firebase (Firestore/Auth/Cloud Messaging). See “Third‑party providers” below.
Data we process
1) App content & usage
What we show and how you use it.
- Read-only pharmacy listings and on-duty schedules pulled from Firestore.
- Basic app interaction events (e.g., opening a pharmacy card) may be logged in aggregated, non-identifying form for reliability and abuse prevention. We do not build user profiles.
2) Location (optional)
Approximate, not stored by us.
- If you grant permission, the App may access your approximate location to show distance or improve map directions.
- We do not store your precise location on our servers. You can disable this permission at any time in your device settings.
3) Notifications
Used only for service alerts.
- We collect a device push token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging/APNs) to send alerts about on-duty pharmacies.
- You can opt out from your system settings; we respect your choice.
4) Admin accounts
Applies only to admins.
- Admins authenticate with email/password (via Firebase Auth) to add or edit pharmacy data.
- We may store audit logs of admin actions (e.g., duty changes) for integrity and troubleshooting.
Permissions we request
- Location (“When in Use” / “Always and When In Use”): to show nearby pharmacies and distances. Not required to use the App.
- Notifications: to send alerts about on-duty pharmacies and important updates.
- Phone/Call: when you tap a phone button, your dialer opens to call the pharmacy (we do not record calls).
- Network: to fetch live pharmacy data and maps/directions.
How we use the data
- Provide core functionality (listing pharmacies, duty schedules, maps/directions).
- Send notifications you opt into (e.g., on-duty alerts).
- Prevent abuse and maintain reliability (e.g., rate limiting, security logs).
- Comply with legal obligations.
Third‑party providers
We rely on trusted services to operate the App:
- Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Messaging) — data hosting, login for admins, and push notifications. Privacy & Security

- Maps (Apple Maps / Google Maps) — external apps opened for directions; their own privacy policies apply.
Data retention
- Push tokens are kept only while needed to deliver notifications (revoked when you disable notifications or reinstall).
- Admin account data and audit logs are retained while the account remains active or as required by law.
- Aggregated, non-identifying operational logs may be kept to maintain the service and for security.
Children’s privacy
The App is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided personal data, please contact us and we will address it promptly.
Your choices & rights
- Permissions: You can revoke Location or Notifications anytime in your device settings.
- Access/Deletion: Contact us at [contact@bouiz.com] to request a copy or deletion of the personal data we hold about you (primarily admin data and push tokens).
- Opt‑out of notifications: Disable notifications in system settings to stop receiving them.
International transfers
Data processed by Firebase may be stored on servers outside your country. We rely on Firebase’s security and compliance programs to help protect your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date.
